Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend  Next Entry
gacked from a real life friend's journal. (what? real life friend? having a journal? wow.)

Comment and...

1. I'll respond with something about you.

2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I'll pick an adventure that I'd like to have with you.

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

6. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

you don't have to post it in your journal or anything :)

1. I'll respond with something about you.
You are full of useless random (but interesting!) facts and great stories. The weirdest thing ever was when I read a weird / interesting fact thing on your LJ, and then we were talking about weird facts in RL, and the same one was said. I think that was the first moment I realized how the eng world and my onlife life were colliding.

2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
Saskatchewan - Les Trois Accord ;)

3. I'll pick an adventure that I'd like to have with you.
WEC 2006, bay-bee!

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
mini-pitchers!

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
Long before I even knew who you were I was journal hopping and saw the best quote ever from you that spoke to me sooooo much. So I saved it.
I still remember asking my mother in exasperation "But... Don't you ever just want to know?"
"Know what?"
"Everything."
"Why would I?"

6. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
How do you handle a double degree? do you really find value in it, or is it more for interest?

1. Bread goes stale faster in the refrigerator. This is because staling of bread isn't really due to loss of moisture, but to the recrystalization of starch. It recrystalizes faster at temperatures closer to freezing. (Funny thing is? I learned this is one of my classes.)

3. I want to debaaaaaaate.

4. Mini! Pitchers! Damn, I could use a candy apple.

6. I -- have recently come to the conclusion that I went into engineering for all the wrong reasons. I really have no interest in any of my engineering courses, and if I had to do it again, I would go into arts and take biology and anthropology and toxicology. (What's the meaning of the -ology root? It is 'study?') I have two/three years into the degree now, though, and I'm not just throwing those years away. I'm hoping to do grad work in environmental toxicology when I graduate, so the bio degree will be very helpful.
